GEOGRAPHICAL COORDINATES OF WORLD CITIES

On this page you can get the geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the various cities of the world. Now here represented 784 cities in 221 countries (or dependent territory). List of cities and countries is periodically updated.

The obtained values of the geographical coordinates of cities can be used to determine (quite accurately) the time of sunrise and sunset in this city and its surroundings. There are other areas of application.

WARNING! The numbers after the decimal point doesn't mean minutes but hundredths of a degree! I recall that even at the equator difference of 1 degree corresponds to about 111 km. on the surface of the Earth. Consequently, for the localization of any city hundredths of a degree more than enough.

You can select with the mouse the desired value, press the right button and copy the selected value to the clipboard.
For latitude and longitude "plus" sign is used for the northern and eastern hemispheres, "minus" sign is used for the southern and western hemispheres.
